The Concept
This risograph poster is a typographic study of Rick Griffith’s visual language, focusing on how his use of stretched forms and annotated text can be interpreted through print.

The Process
In my research, I found that Griffith is well known for his annotated typographic posters. To reflect his visual language, I incorporated similar principles into the text, allowing it to be read in multiple ways depending on the color relationships. The color palette was also chosen to reference Griffith’s political activism, reinforcing the connection between his design work and messaging.
